At OutCode, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. We are looking for a Senior Backend Python Software Engineer responsible for developing APIs in Python using the Django framework and Django Rest. Your main focus will be developing all back-office logic, from defining and maintaining the core database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable APIs.
- Integration of data warehousing solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, block stores, etc.
- Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these issues.
- Helping to maintain code quality, organization and automation.
- Drive the continuous adoption and integration of new design-relevant technologies.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

**Required Skills**:

- Experience with Python, along with other common libraries such as Django, Django Rest Framework.
- Good understanding of Python syntax and its nuances.
- Solid knowledge of object oriented programming.
- Good knowledge of technologies: Celery, Python Dataclasses and Pytest.
- Ability to write clean and readable Python code.
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
- Familiarity with technologies: Black, MyPy Pretend.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related.
- Good knowledge of relational databases.
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Solid experience in API development using Python technology.
