**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All duties will be performed under the review/guidance of a Sr. Business Analyst or Business Solutions Consultant.
- Participate in defining telecom interconnect business requirements through discussions with clients and analyzing clients’ operations.
- Prepare/review system interface specifications from defined requirements.
- Assist client with proper collection and population of reference data, including analyzing, loading, and validation of client reference data.
- Design integration and user acceptance test plans, perform internal testing, assist client in their execution, report and resolve defects, and manage to a successful completion.
- Analyze system output/operations in relation to client requirements, identify inconsistencies, and propose / implement optimal solutions.
- Produce detailed feature request documents for functional enhancements and further development of core product or customizations.
- Develop roll out plans to integrate iXTools for specific client implementations.
- Work with internal development department when writing functional specifications to maintain alignment and feasibility.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, analysis on system issues.
- Perform data analysis, manipulation and loading in MS SQL database.
- Conduct basic code reviews and understand software concepts.
- Train clients in the set up, configuration and use of iXTools.
- Work closely with client and internal support & implementation team to support roll-out of iXTools.
- Support internal clients (Client Services, Product Management, Development, Sales, and etc.).

**Competencies**

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to interact with clients in a clear and professional manner, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have great attention to detail, is capable technically of navigation thru remote systems and comfortable performing basic SQL functions, can read and comprehend code and assist with debugging software issues, and has a clear focus on client satisfaction.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation, writing (technical writing skills) and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with strong feeling for task ownership and ability to drive them both in internal and external environment to successful completion.
- Ability to understand code, write simple software scripts for data manipulation and analysis, participate in software design reviews, and develop and carry out test plans and test cases.
- Ability to work independently without (with minimum) supervision and as a part of a team.
- Ability to work productively in a home office.

**Qualifications**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 2 + years in the telecommunications industry.
- 2 years’ experience as a business analyst or similar technical or support roll, with exposure to requirements analysis, methods and procedures, use and test case development and execution, and frequent interaction and communication with clients.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Up to 60% Travel(post COVID-19) may be required, often international and 1-2 weeks in duration.

**Education and/or Experience**

Bachelor’s Degree in **Computer Science** or a related field is required.

**Language Skills**

An individual must also have excellent oral and written communication skills in both **English **& **Spanish**.
