Regional Director

**Job Summary**:
A leader who manages end-to-end oversight, control and reporting of customer and internal facing development projects as well as local division operations within the Tower group. Supporting sales opportunities through to on-air completion, responsible for all customer development projects within a defined geographic market.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction company tower development projects.
- Work to find and secure new project opportunities within each associated geographic market.
- Anticipate and identify challenges with project scoping, zoning/permitting requirements, construction issues, and other factors that may render an issue with the client.
- Develop and maintain project Budgets and schedules for all market-specific opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure that the project pace is not negatively impacted by unnecessary delays.
- Liaise with the client’s management team regarding project status, project scope and other project issues.
- Evaluate existing and potential project opportunities to comprehensively confirm/validate viability and necessary resources.
- Report project status in deployment meetings with the client and implement changes necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Lead MNO commercial agreement negotiations.
- Attend and present during internal and client status meetings as required within the project
- Assess project risks and collaborate with management to alleviate such risks. Risks include project viability as well as delays to the project budget and timeline.
- Assist team members through shared knowledge, training and mentorship associated with similar project responsibilities.
- Assist in contract services, suppliers and resource development.
- Drive financial management and project budgets with finance team down to the functional regional teams.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant course; Telecom. Construction or Program Management.

**Experience**:

- Preferred 10+ years’ experience in telecommunications business operations, site development and project management.
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of the wireless tower industry including environmental/ compliance, leasing, planning and construction management
- Proven record of success on multiple telecommunications projects and multiple client settings, especially raw land tower construction.
- Management experience with tower site construction and operations, as well as carrier interaction.

**Technical Skills**:

- Microsoft Office proficiency - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet and database management
- Ability to use CRM and associated dashboard and reporting functionality

**Physical Requirements**:

- Willingness and ability to travel; position requires 25-50% travel
- May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
- Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
- Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
