Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking a Web Developer to join its Web Development Department. The company is looking for an energetic, motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills to work on a wide variety of front-end projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code using best web development practices
- Creating website layouts and user interfaces using standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript practices
- Partnering with user experience and web designers to match functionality and visual design intent
- Working closely with project owners and supervisor to prioritize the completion of tasks
- Proactively managing the execution of projects to meet deadlines.
**Requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress
- Proven working experience in web development
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams, such as design and quality assurance
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet goals and deadlines with accuracy and reliability
- Experience with Jira or similar project management software
- Experience with Mathematica and/or the Wolfram Language is a plus
