**How you will contribute**
You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

**What you need to know about this position**:
As the Benefits Specialist for our Lima Plant, you will play a crucial role in the administration and optimization of employee benefits programs. This is a hands-on, operational role that requires a proactive and creative problem-solver who can effectively collaborate with various internal departments.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of benefits, resolving issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is also an opportunity to participate in Collective Bargaining Agreement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- ** Benefits Administration**:Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including (but not limited to) logistics, physical arrangements, and issue resolution. This goes beyond just ticket resolution; it includes physical tasks.
- **Problem Solving**:Resolve complex benefits-related issues, often requiring creative solutions and collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Facilities, and Security.
- **Collective Bargaining**:Participate in the onboarding process related to Collective Bargaining Agreements, gaining exposure to the negotiation process.
- **Project Management**: Collaborate with Project Managers on continuous improvement projects, focusing on simplification, process automation, and well-being initiatives. This includes contributing ideas, strategies, and working with the HSE team.
- **Implementation**: Support the implementation of new benefits programs (e.g., Flexi-Plus), working closely with HR, Legal, Payroll, and PEX teams to ensure compliance and a seamless rollout.
- **Compliance**: Ensure benefits programs adhere to legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. Understand concepts of accrual and deduction (previous month and current month = 4 concepts).
- **Change Management**: Assist with the communication and training related to benefits changes.
- **Committee Participation**: Participate in policy committees and contribute to project management discussions.
- **Regional Collaboration**: Support regional projects related to benefits harmonization and standardization.

**Education / Certifications**:

**Job specific requirements**:
- ** Experience**:Minimum 3+ years of experience in benefits administration.
- ** Language Skills**:Intermediate English (B1 level).
- ** T**echnical Skills**:* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, VLOOKUP, basic macros).
- Experience with Workday reporting.
- Familiarity with Power BI dashboards.
- ** Desired**:Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.

This is a **primarily on-site role (90% of time)** located at the Lima Plant.
