**Summary**:
The SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration team is one of the fastest growing teams within the SAP Ariba Network, the largest business-to-business network in the world with over 3.6 million connected companies in over 190 countries. Our solution enables customers to manage and run an efficient supply chain and helps them collaborate with direct materials suppliers through innovative planning and execution processes. We are looking for bright engineers who are passionate about solving complex business problems with purposeful, beautiful software, and have fun while doing it.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with development team to design functionality that will preserve production performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Dictate the availability SLO for the services owned by the team. Develop corresponding observability. Triage and coordinate resolution of issues detected in production.
- Improve existing production and internal services observability.
- Test the performance of new UI or APIs developed by the team. Observe their usage and performance in production and take these learnings to enhance performance testing and provide feedback to the development team.
- Coordination with other support functions and teams to resolve production issues in a timely manner. Contribute to Root Cause Analysis.
- Automate deployment and support of internal test environments.
- Enhance the CI/CD pipeline to provide 100% automation on deployment in internal services or production environment.
- Develop tight relationships with DevOps engineers and other engineering partners across the Business Networks
**Education and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor/Master degree in computer science with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience working in a product development environment.
- Experience in white-box, backend testing, Performance testing.
- Hands on experience on JUnits, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, BDD, TDD
- Has tested complex B2B and understands the complexities of data, the scale, the fast paced development cycles
- Experience handling complex deployment stacks. Exposure to public cloud.
- Experience in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, DevOps tools.
- Excellent coding skill in Java, JavaScript. Good Database experience
- Familiar with Spring/Spring Boot, JPA or other ORM framework
- Good experience building, maintaining, enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
- Good experience in GCP, Azure, AWS
- Good understanding about agile working and SDLC, processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Communication skills that include the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Working in fast-changing environments, acquiring and sharing knowledge, and improving processes.
