Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, analytical, and tech-savvy **Fleet & Inventory Coordinator** to oversee our vehicle fleet, company inventory, and mobile device systems. This role is central to supporting our field operations, and it requires attention to detail, a strong sense for identifying patterns in data, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with leaders across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
- Manage the day-to-day operation of over 150 company vehicles, including registration, maintenance tracking, and vehicle assignments.
- Ensure all vehicles are equipped with **Samsara GPS and dash cams**; oversee onboarding of new vehicles into the system.
- Monitor **driver behavior reports** through Samsara to identify and address unsafe driving practices, including speeding, harsh braking, and distracted driving.
- Coordinate with regional leaders to address vehicle needs, resolve issues quickly, and maintain optimal fleet performance.
- Track fuel usage, maintenance frequency, and repair costs to identify areas for efficiency and cost savings.
Inventory Oversight
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of pest control materials and equipment across multiple locations.
- Monitor usage patterns and coordinate restocking processes to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inventory workflows and transparency.
Mobile Device Management
- Oversee all mobile devices issued to field staff, including deployment, replacement, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure mobile tools and apps are functioning properly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Work with IT to maintain security standards and efficient user experiences across all devices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the central communication point for fleet, inventory, and device matters across the organization.
- Work closely with branch managers and team leads to ensure local operations are informed and supported.
- Take on occasional special projects that support broader operational improvements and company growth.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of follow-through.
- Analytical thinker capable of spotting trends and patterns in fleet, inventory, or device data.
- Strong communicator who can clearly convey technical or logístical information to non-technical team members.
- Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and open to learning new management software tools.
- Capable of balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.
