The role:
A Project Manager within SoftwareONE will be responsible for supporting customer engagements, ensuring projects meet scope, timeline & milestones, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing projects aligned to the SoftwareONE Project Delivery Framework (named pmONE) and the agreed delivery methodology alongside any other processes or procedures related to any particular project’s delivery. The Project Manager will lead and support the project team (The project team may consist of i.e. Architects, Technical Consultants, Analysts, SAM Specialists etc.). In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for managing corporate, customer and third-party vendor efforts to plan and implement SoftwareONE solutions.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, controlling and communication on all aspects of a project within the time, cost and quality thresholds set
- Facilitates the development of the project artefacts any other documentation in collaboration with the project team
- Facilitates the identification of project resource requirements and works with Project Resource Scheduler to construct project teams.
- Facilitates regular core team meetings to review risks, issues and monitor project health and progress
- Create regular Status reports and distributes them accordingly
- Manage and control costs to drive financially healthy projects.
- Responsible for managing small to medium size assigned customer project, supporting delivery lead in customers engagements for SoftwareONE
- Identifies and develops new opportunities within current project supporting early qualification and opportunity assessment
- Provides training to others and assists them with their professional development
- Achieving operational objectives by contributing information and preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems
- Responsible for leading and supporting the project team
- Responsible for managing corporate, customer and third-party vendor efforts to plan and implement SoftwareONE solutions.
- To guarantee the performance of the teams, with quality and opportunity before the clients, and ensure that the guidelines of both the client's and the organization's frameworks are met.
- Responsible for directly managing multiple projects within a service practice
- Manages first level to midlevel client delivery relationships and resolves conflicts
- Manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project)
- Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and reuse requirements of project
- Will work with Practice Project Managers in project risk management and delivery of projects
- Track and manage project activities like: Schedule Management, Cost Management, Risk & Issues Management, Meeting Management and Change Management
- Work with Business team on presales activities and getting the scope finalized as required
- Promoting pmONE services to practice leads/country managers when required
- Participate in upselling and presales activities
- Support project reporting activities
- Approve submitted time entries in PSA on weekly basis
- Complete monthly project revenue recognition in PSA on the 1st day of every month

What we need to see from you:

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Experienced in working in a consulting environment
- Structured, organized, disciplined and methodical
- Have used a PSA or PPM solution as part of project delivery
- Understands and has practised PMP, PMI or Prince2 based project methodologies
- Has experience of project financial accounting
- Implemented projects in cloud computing technologies or cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
- Total experience not more than 12 years, preferably from a large service organization (ability to manage internal as well as external resources with a team size of atleast 7) implementing complex IT solutions
