**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design, implement, and maintain labor relations programs, policies, and procedures.
- Provide advice, information, and assistance to managers on implementing policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and good practices of labor relations that guarantee the continuity of the operation.
- Supervise the HR Business Partners team and provide guidance in the interpretation, investigation, and advice of labor matters, relations with collaborators, management of formal and informal complaints, performance management, disciplinary measures, and other HR processes.
- Attend and respond in a timely manner to the requirements of regulatory bodies and/or employee representatives in coordination with the legal department and/or external labor advisors.
- Develop and implement training programs about Labor Laws to improve team leaders' human resource management skills.
- Promote and facilitate communication, integration, and positive working relationships between leaders and work teams to build relationships of trust.
- Manage a labor cases system and use associated data to gather information, identify trends, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate workplace risks.
- Prepare and submit to Management ad hoc reports related to investigations and resolution of complex or critical labor relations issues.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Strategic perspective and ability to present and support information at the highest level.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively.
- Ability to remain calm and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
- Listening skills, as well as the ability to understand people's backgrounds and motives.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact.
- Ability to relate and build relationships of trust with employees and managers.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Professional in the careers of Labor Relations, Administration, Law, or related.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to human resources.
- 7 years of effective experience, preferably in the mining, oil, energy, or gas industry.
- Experience working under atypical regimes.
- Availability to work in an atypical regime (5 x 2)
