The Role

As an IT Solutions professional, you'll serve as the key technical leader, guiding systems management specialists and internal teams through complex challenges. You'll be the trusted expert that customers and Kyndryl account teams turn to when they need insight, technical guidance, or support during major incidents and critical technical discussions. With your expertise, you’ll assess customers’ IT environments, identify any technological gaps, and develop tailored remediation plans that elevate their operational capabilities. Your recommendations will be pivotal in helping businesses evolve and stay ahead in the digital landscape.

In this role, you'll act as a technical escalation point for Systems Management Specialists and provides technical leadership to internal delivery teams, customers and Kyndryl Account Teams regarding all technical discussions, major incidents, complex RFS activities etc. Works closely with customers to review the IT environment, work on remediating technological gaps, develop remediation plans and provide technical recommendations.

When urgent or emergency changes are needed, you'll guide the team through expedited change management processes, ensuring that solutions are implemented swiftly and smoothly. Your role is not just about solving technical problems - it's about leading teams through challenges, driving innovation, and shaping the future of IT solutions for our customers.

Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Computer Technician / Bachelor or Systems Engineer / Bachelor or Telecommunications Engineer
- At least two years of experience with monitoring tools
- Knowledge of Ansible Tower
- Knowledge of WebHook, Impact Policy Language (IPL), JavaScript, JSON functions
- Desirable Certification: ITIL V3 or 4
- Soft skills: Responsible and committed to achieving objectives
- Knowledge in IT service management and Cybersecurity (-) Experience in administration of IT Infrastructure Monitoring tools, Applications, Networks, Databases
- Experience with Power Shell - Intermediate
- Experience with Linux bash - Intermediate
- SQL Server database administration - Intermediate
- Linux and AIX operating system administration - Intermediate
- Desirable knowledge of Azure.
- Desirable knowledge of Python. (-) Administrative level
- Knowledge of the following tools or Elastic on-premise and cloud or IBM Tivoli Netcool/System Service Monitors (Netcool/SSM) or Cloud Azure Monitor and Oracle Cloud Observability or Manager Engine - App Manager Enterprise or System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) or AppDynamics - Cisco or SolarWinds - Orion or Oracle Cloud Control or Firewall (Palo Alto) or DLP Symantec or Grafana or Cloudflare or DCNM or SIEM (RSA Qradar) or Cloud OCI, AWS, GCP (e.g., DB Cosmos, API Gateway, AKS, Bastion, Storage, Virtual Machines, API management
