Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. **Qualifications**: Skills required for the Lead FortiNet Security Specialist position: Active member of a 24x7 team of FortiNet security specialists System administration Network security Problem solving Information security policies On-call network troubleshooting Firewall administration Network protocols Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience 2+ years of full-time hands-on experience in designing, configuring, implementing, monitoring, and resolving issues on FortiNetFortiGuard security appliances. Note: Experience gained in a traditional repair or NOC position do not normally qualify as meeting this requirement. Advanced FortiNet security certifications Industry certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, Security+ CE, CISSP or CASP Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements. Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data (e.g. Netflow, FPC), and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. - Applicants must have business-level English proficiency, both written and verbal, and posses strong and clear communication skills.
