Your role at Clorox:
The Supply Planner is responsible for maintaining the optimal inventory levels for FGs across the supply chain network ensuring customer service levels, demand plan, manufacturing resources and safety stock levels for all SKUs at all warehouses.
This position owns the MPS (Master Production Schedule) for all manufacturing plants (co-packing included), RCCP (Root Cause Capacity Plan) and Inventory Policy for FGs (Master Data owner for MRP in SAP).
This position also supports Business and PSO strategies by participating and leading the supply plan for all new products. The Supply Planner acts as the link between the Demand Planner and Plant Managers to resolve production issues or potential bottleneck in the short and long term.
In this role, you will:
Inventory Analysis: daily inventory analysis for all sku, communicate alerts for potential Out Of Stock to Manufacturing and Sales teams.
Supply Plan: generate the MPS (Master Production Schedule) on monthly bases for all manufacturing plants, and also the production plan for the full fiscal year used to build the budget for operating expenses. Follow up production plan execution.
RCCP: run Root Cause Capacity Plan for next 12 or 18 months in order to identify bottle necks in the supply chain.
Inventory Working Capital: calculate FG inventory targets (quaterly updated), understand monthly results, identify action plan to achieve target. Track R&P drivers and plans.
Projects: support projects implementation from the supply strategy standpoint and manage the MRP setup in SAP.
S&OP Process: Lead the monthly Supply Review meeting (STEP3) with Plant Managers, Logistics Manager and Integrator, sharing KPIs results for previous month and production strategy for the next 12 or 18 months. Participate in other S&OP meetings to understand demand/forecast and volumen changes.
Inventory Write offs: monitor inventory write off and slow movers, identify potential risks and develop a mitigation plan with other functions.
Inventory Policy: calculate the level of inventory (Safety Stock) required for each product to ensure availability in Distribution Center every day with the right balance between service level and working capital.
Volume/Sales Meeting: active participation in weekly meetings to understand demand changes, communicate supply issues/risks. Evaluate if production schedulling modifications are required according most recent demand information.
Imports: responsible for all purchase orders to supply finished goods imported
Copackers: responsible to generate supply plan and/or create purchase orders to Copackers. Ensure all suppliers are producing and delivering according the plan.
What if Analysis: to anticipate the most likely future situations, how to manage and plan accordingly.
What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:
- 3 years of experience in Supply Chain: Supply Planning, Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Material Planning (MRP Controller) Inventory management, Logistics, Imports, Forecasting, etc.
- S&OP knowledge (Interface with marketing, sales, plant)
- Planning systems / ERP like SAP
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in tools such as MS Office: Excel (Intermediate/Advanced), Outlook (Intermediate), Word (Basic), PPT (Basic)
- Language: English (Intermediate)
Additional preferred:
- Financial acumen
- Experience with other planning tools like Kinaxis, other.

Education Level/Degree:
- College/University degree for Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent professional work experience.
