**Job Description**:
The Cost Manager_ _ensures building projects remain within budget, demonstrates a methodical approach and strong interpersonal skills to communicate progress against budget The ability to report independently on cost incurred, committed and forecast is key irrespective of how this information will be received.

Working closely with a design and construction team the manager must be able to highlight problems in advance and suggest solutions in an assertive fashion

**Education/Experience**:

- Fluent English and Spanish
- Preferably a Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction
- Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including knowledge performance, cost control, and value engineering.
- Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice
- Demonstrated experience balancing and organizing multiple project or assignments.
- Experiences in stakeholder management; ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, Management, and contractors.
- Experience working within the infrastructure sector.
- Ability to travel.

**Qualifications**:

- Coordination with the Client´s Procurement team during RFP processes
- 7 to 10 years of construction experience in similar positions
- Preparation of Management reports
- Attending the client's meetings
- Support the Technical team in RFP's
- Quotation analysis and comparison
- Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis
- Maintain and manage the cost report and provide regular updates on financial position
