**ROLE SUMMARY**:
- Altair School is strategically located in La Molina, Lima, Peru, and its campus has an area of 15,000 square meters. It is a regular, bilingual and mixed education school. It has the IB Continuing Program accredited for its three programs: PYP (Primary Years Program), MYP (Middle Years Program) and Diploma.- The School's educational proposal is based on a comprehensive, personalized education with emphasis not only on academic excellence, but also on sports and cultural areas. The Teacher Assistant must be able to work as a team with the teachers of the level, showing good social skills. You must have a passion for teaching and a commitment to the comprehensive education of your students. In addition, use technological tools and an advanced level of English.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of the staff room.
- Experience of the IB Middle Years
- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
- A proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice
- Ability to contribute to our extra-curricular activities programme
- A team player who will help develop new initiatives to enhance the Humanities curriuculum
- Knowledge and experience in the use of digital technologies to enhance pupils’ learning.
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
- Demonstrate at least a FCE English level
