Senior DevOps Automation Engineer

**What you’ll do**

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.
- Design and implement Test plans that include functional, regression, system and integration tests.
- Execute complex manual and automated test cases and share the KPI’s.
- Create and maintain test scripts.
- Build innovative automation systems to facilitate both function and performance testing.
- Build tools to generate customer like data in test systems.
- Research new emerging tools and enhance existing automated test systems.
- Participate in architecture discussions to design tests for Kubernetes and Cloud Platforms.
- Represent the team and help manage the team's deliverables/commitments.
- Review software specifications & design and develop test plans/strategies for various software.

**What you bring**
- Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science or related field with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience working in a product development environment.
- 6+ years of experience in testing/methodology preferable with Cloud Technologies, and Kubernetes
- Excellent engineering skills - coding, debugging, designing and managing CI pipelines.
- Experience in backend testing, component integration performance testing and customer end to end scenarios testing and data migration.
- Test automation skills on Selenium WebDriver or JMeter. Experience with automating test frameworks for web, micro services using Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of testing scalable enterprise based on REST/XML/JSON
- Experience in building tests, maintaining, enhancing with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience handling complex deployment stacks. Exposure to Public Cloud hyperscalers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate with detailed technical analysis.
- Excellent communication in English (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environment.
- Experience in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Cloud DevOps tools, monitoring.
- Experience in Database concepts and hands on experience with SQL.

**Nice to have**
- Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform or Procurement Supply Chain domains
- Experience in BTP (Business Technology Platform) Kubernetes
