**How you will contribute**

You will:

- Co-ordinate implementation of all HSE programs and processes. Prepare and build consensus annual plans for facility/function wide HSE initiatives
- Plan/Budget/Control annual capital budget for HSE to enable execution of the HSE plan and adherence to all internal and external compliance standards
- Provide HSE expertise for the facility/function for all new projects and change management activities
- Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted and follow ups implemented to minimize or eliminate accidents, asset losses that might cause harm to one of the company’s employees, contractors, visitors
- Ensure that the appropriate talent is in place through training, mentoring, and succession planning and supports development and learning capabilities of Safety specialists
- Ensure the facility standards are in compliance with both Company and governmental/community regulations
- Ensure training and coaching are taking place to drive a safety-perfect culture and to ensure safety standards and awareness are well understood throughout the plant organization

- Demonstrated experience managing a team, change management and project management

- Experience with Health and Safety audit experience

**What you need to know about this position**:
Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the environmental, occupational health and safety, and security management system of the company at the Lima Plant, according to its internal, legal, and corporate regulations, and based on previous evaluations of risk, to ensure compliance with corporate policies, objectives, and plans, as well as national and government regulations. At the same time, it must develop strategic plans and issue continuous improvement plans to continue developing an interdependent culture and a safe workplace for people and the environment, to develop business activities free of accidents and occupational diseases and generate an environmentally responsible culture.

**Education / Certifications**:

- University Degree in Industrial Safety and Hygiene Engineering, Industrial, Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health, or similar.
- Certified auditor in international management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 19011 - desirable)

**Job specific requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience leading Safety, Health, and Environment processes and risk prevention programs, and diagnosis and evaluation of hygienic risks.
- Profesional background in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering.
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems, TPM, Lean manufacturing, or training in Lean Six Sigma (desirable).
- Intermediate / advanced English.
- Experience managing people and managing change throughout the organization. Preferably in companies aligned to their corporate standards or systems.
