Software Engineering Manager

**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Manage software engineering teams, ensuring all members work collaboratively to meet deadlines.
- Plan, organize, and direct engineering activities.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and oversee engineering projects.
- Supervise engineering staff and provide guidance and feedback.
- Ensure that engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze project performance and recommend improvements.
- Identify and address potential risks and issues.
- Prepare and present engineering reports to management.
- Manage engineering resources and ensure optimal utilization.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation, such as design/architecture specifications, test plans, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Conduct research and stay up to date with industry trends and developments.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of work experience in software engineering and engineering management.
- Proven track record in project management.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to mentor engineers and coach them through engineering solutions and architecture
