This role is hired under a Portfolio company.

**Job Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with portfolio management team, as a business partner from finance function, report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Provide deep-dive analysis and create financial models for decision making.
- Drive revenue initiatives with direct impact to financial performance.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, dashboard and recommendation of action for optimisation.
- Ensure proper policies, procedures, processes and internal controls are put in place and proper governance is practiced and upheld.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee tax filings and compliance, including the treatment of cryptocurrency transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, regulations, and developments related to cryptocurrency transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and strategic objectives.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in finance and accounting related roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in cryptocurrency accounting and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Fluency in English; a second language is a plus for better collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero/Quickbook/Netsuite); experience with cryptocurrency accounting platforms is a plus.
- Crypto/Blockchain or fintech industry working experience is a plus.
