About the role

The Peru Finance Manager will be a key member of the G Adventures South America Finance and Operations teams. He/She will: oversee the local finances of the Peruvian company; support the LATAM Senior Finance Manager and the Regional Operations Manager with financial duties; and administrate the day-to-day and long-term facility needs of the office and office property.

**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary Financial representative for the region, including managing all aspects of accounting, reporting, governance, and supervising financial staff.- Administer payroll and all associated government reporting and remittances (with the assistance of an outsourced payroll Company).- Manage and supervise all accounting including month-end, annual reporting, and management of our accounting systems.- Ensure spending is within approved limits; manage cash and bank accounts; approve and pay overhead invoices.- Supervision of COGS reconciliation and tour leader reconciliation.- Supervise and mentor (directly and indirectly) 7 local accounting staff to enable their professional growth (2 in Lima and 5 in Cuzco).- Ensure all government compliance is completed on a timely basis.(SUNAT and other Government agencies)- Ensure equipment, office, and property are properly accounted for and maintained.- Field operation phone calls from vendors, tour leaders, etc. when required.- Provide operational assistance when required.- Ensure consistent Vendor Management.- Assist the Operations Manager in reviewing and assessing trip profitability and the annual budget process.

**Requirements**:
Must have:
- Accounting Degree and designation- At least 2 years working in a hands-on managerial position- At least 5 years experience in an accounting position- Exceptional communication, leadership and problem-solving skills- Advanced spoken and written skills in both English and Spanish- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Process efficiency committed- Results Oriented- Extremely detail-oriented and customer service oriented- Ability to travel outside of Peru on occasion- Preference will be given to someone with at least 2 years in the tourism industry, familiarity with G Adventures products and Core Values, and experience working with global companies.
