**DUTIES**:
The Realty Assistant supports the Leasing Supervisor and the GSO Housing Officer in managing daily operations and administering all aspects of the Housing Program. Primary responsibilities include identifying and recommending suitable properties to expand the housing inventory in the greater Lima market, initiating negotiations with property owners, and closing rental agreements. The role also involves assisting with lease administration, conducting market surveys, and managing relationships with real estate agents.
This position also requires managing office functions, preparing and typing documents, preparing leases and lease waivers; sending letters to landlords; typing official correspondence, and handling supplies, work orders, services, and short-term leases (STL) issues.
The Leasing Office manages over 200 residential leased properties and six million dollars of housing inventory. This position is directly supervised by the Realty Supervisor.
**Experience**: At least two years of property management, real estate, property acquisition or business experience is required.
Must have a valid driver's license and have held it for a minimum of five (5) years.
**Education**: At least two years of college studies or university education is required.
