We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong background in technology projects within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

The Project Manager will lead expansion projects, coordinate teams, and apply both agile and traditional methodologies to achieve project objectives. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to handle complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage expansion projects, ensuring delivery according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams to meet all project deliverables.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and key milestones.
  • Create, manage, and track project timelines, resource plans, and schedules.
  • Monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness and success of project improvements.
  • Conduct user interviews to understand user behavior, needs, and expectations.
  • Ensure that agile and efficient methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) are applied throughout project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and challenges.
  • Manage project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in IT Management or related fields (preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience managing technology projects, with mandatory experience in the banking sector.
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • Agile & Traditional methodologies: PMI, Scrum, Kanban, RUP
  • Project financial management
  • Process automation
  • Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
  • Knowledge of project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, ITIL.
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of core banking systems and financial technology solutions.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: S/.6, S/.6,565.00 per month
