The Role

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale the AI agents powering thousands of businesses. You'll work on enhancing Maia's intelligence, improving conversion rates, and developing new agents to solve problems no one else is tackling in conversational commerce.

This is a production-first environment: millions of conversations, thousands of product catalogs, and latency that matters. You'll see the real-world impact of your work every day.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI agents for conversational commerce at scale
  • Improve and iterate on existing agents (Maia, Yago) based on production data and user feedback
  • Build robust, low-latency pipelines for real-time agent interactions
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship features rapidly
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize agent performance in production
  • Stay current with LLM advancements and evaluate new approaches for our use cases

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, and LangSmith
  • Experience deploying and maintaining AI systems in production
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Heavy daily use of AI coding tools—at least two of the following: Cursor, Claude Code, V0, Warp, Perplexity

Nice to Have:

  • Frontend capabilities , Tailwind) or vibecoding experience
  • Familiarity with additional languages: Go, Rust, or TypeScript
  • Personal projects or experimentation with LLMs and AI agents
