The Role

A FICO consultant is an expert who specializes in implementing and customizing the SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) module to help organizations streamline their financial processes. They analyze business requirements, configure the system, test solutions, and provide support to ensure financial goals are met and compliance with regulations like GAAP and IFRS is maintained. 

Who You Are

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. This role combines deep technical expertise in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling with strong consulting skills to help clients optimize their financial processes and ensure compliance with global standards such as GAAP and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.

Configure and customize SAP FICO modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP components.

Lead end-to-end project implementation, from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.

Conduct workshops and act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex business and technical issues.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

• More than seven years of experience in similar roles and strong knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities and integration points.

• Solid background in accounting, controlling, and finance (degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).

• Ability to engage with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and provide strategic guidance.

• Project Management: Experience managing SAP implementation projects and timelines.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields, with knowledge in finance and business accounting.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Certifications in SAP FICO or SAP Financials are a plus.
