Role Overview
We are seeking a
Global Trade Systems Analyst
to contribute to advisory engagements focused on trade policy modernization, infrastructure benchmarking, and cross-border logistics strategy. The role supports the production of strategic reports, regulatory studies, and policy diagnostics aimed at improving national and regional connectivity.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in trade systems, infrastructure policy, or economic analysis who are passionate about shaping the future of trade across Latin America and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct policy analysis and trade performance research across logistics networks and port systems
- Draft technical notes, sector briefs, and strategy papers for public and institutional clients
- Analyze macroeconomic and geopolitical trends that impact global trade resilience
- Collaborate on infrastructure planning frameworks and regional integration assessments
- Work with cross-border trade datasets and global benchmarks to inform policy recommendations
Qualifications
- University degree in Trade Policy, Infrastructure Planning, Economics, or a related discipline
- 2–6 years of experience in consulting, trade advisory, infrastructure strategy, or development research
- Strong writing and analytical skills with experience producing client-ready materials
- Familiarity with trade facilitation programs, customs modernization, or regional corridor development is a plus
- Fluency in English
