Teacher of First & Second Language English - Secondary School

Markham College is looking for an inspirational English Language Teacher for Secondary School to start in February 2026. Candidates must hold a relevant degree such as English Language Teaching and hold a teaching qualification such as a PGCE or degree in Education. The ideal candidate would have experience with Learning Needs. You must be passionate about interdisciplinary learning and have abundant creativity. These professional attributes should be combined with exceptional communication skills. Any experience with TOK and/or Debating would also be an advantage. Early application is encouraged.

Established in 1946, Markham College is a bilingual Peruvian international school with a British Heritage. We are a non-profit, co-ed day school for children from 3-18 years of age. Our vision is to empower everyone to be agents of positive change in Peru and beyond. Aligned with our IBDP and IGCSE curriculum in Secondary, we are adopting the PYP curriculum for our Primary students. In Early Years we follow the British National Curriculum. All of our programs are underpinned by our values: respect for self, respect for others and respect for the world around us.
