What we're looking for:

We are looking for a Tech Lead to take full ownership of a platform that is evolving from custom enterprise solutions to a modular SaaS. We are looking for someone with a product mindset, strong technical skills, and hands-on leadership, who enjoys solving complex challenges and building scalable systems that will be used by teams in different countries.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and scale a full-stack platform (backend + frontend).
  • Lead and scale a full-stack platform (backend + frontend).
  • Define the system architecture, modularization strategy, and automation of internal workflows.
  • Integrate internal AI modules for translation, quality assurance, and analytics.
  • Migrate legacy PHP components to a modern foundation built on and Python.
  • Establish DevOps best practices: CI/CD, security, monitoring, and deployment processes.
  • Coordinate with the product team to ensure high-quality, stable, and scalable deliveries.
  • Promote engineering standards and guide the team in modern development practices.

Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of experience in SaaS product development or full-stack engineering.
  • Strong command of , Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and React.
  • Practical knowledge of PHP for refactoring and migrating legacy modules.
  • Experience in designing scalable architectures and automating workflows.
  • Interest in AI-driven automation and hybrid technical workflows.
  • Startup mindset: initiative, autonomy, responsibility, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the technical direction.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Peru time).

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Peru time).
  • Holidays: Peruvian holidays are observed.
  • Payment: Through Deel, during the first few days of each month, to the account of your choice.
  • Contract type: Independent contractor.
  • Payment currency: Invoicing in soles (or dollars if you reside outside of Peru).
  • Equipment: Each collaborator uses their own laptop.
  • Work flexibility based on performance and completion of deliverables.
