Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and preferably experience with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). This role involves guiding students through their learning journey in English Language and Literature, supervising internal assessments, and contributing to the development of comprehensive lesson plans.

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Licentiate in Education.
  • Native-level proficiency in English, with official certifications equivalent to CAE-CPE.
  • Training in IB Language and Literature & English B programmes. (It is a plus)
  • Proven experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme (DP). (It is a plus)
  • Experience with the IB MYP is a plus.
  • Advanced level of Spanish.
  • Experience supervising internal assessments or extended essays.
  • Strong understanding of IB lesson planning and curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • High adaptability to new work environments and cultures.
  • Proficiency with Office and G Suite applications.
  • Knowledge and use of various digital teaching resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Native English speaker with experience in Anglo-American literature.

● Experience in managing classrooms with students of varying learning needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: S/.4, S/.5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lima 15001: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
