Summary
:

Responsible for managing all aspects of billing and claims processing for audiology services, ensuring accurate coding, timely reimbursement, and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
:


• Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims for audiology services (private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid).


• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.


• Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately in the billing system.


• Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims to ensure prompt resolution.


• Maintain knowledge of current CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes related to audiology.


• Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and patients regarding billing issues.


• Reconcile accounts and generate billing reports as needed.


• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer policies.

Qualifications
:


• Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience (audiology or ENT preferred).


• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, coding, and EOB interpretation.


• Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR).


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
