We are a family based in Miraflores, Lima, Peru, seeking a certified teacher to homeschool our son as he begins First Grade, following the Oak Meadow homeschooling curriculum.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• 4 hours per day (20 hours per week)
• In-person, Miraflores

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 100% English instruction using the Oak Meadow First Grade program
• Plan and facilitate engaging daily lessons across core subjects
• Adapt instruction to the child's pace and learning style
• Provide regular progress feedback to parents
• Maintain a structured, calm, and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Certified teacher (degree in education required)
• Native or near-native English with strong academic proficiency
• Experience teaching early elementary / First Grade
• Homeschooling or alternative education experience (Oak Meadow a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and child-focused
• Based in Lima or able to commute to Miraflores

Compensation:

• Competitive, based on experience
