As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. The main objective of this role is to support the transformation and modernization of client environments through cloud migration projects, incident resolution, and cost optimization initiatives. The Software Engineer will be a technical reference, contributing to cloud operations, FinOps practices, and knowledge sharing within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in end‑to‑end cloud migration projects from on‑premise environments to AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Manage and maintain the client's cloud landscape, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance.

Respond to and resolve technical incidents in cloud environments.

Execute cloud assessments, identify improvement areas, and propose cost‑optimization strategies following FinOps best practices.

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to knowledge sharing and supporting team upskilling.

Develop software solutions using Python and Java aligned with modernization goals and best engineering practices.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.

Strong proficiency in Python and Java.

Hands‑on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience in on‑premise to cloud migrations.

Ability to manage complex cloud environments and troubleshoot technical issues.

Experience performing cloud assessments and implementing cost optimization strategies.

Strong understanding of cloud operations, DevOps concepts, and modern software engineering practices.

Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Familiarity with FinOps tools or frameworks.

Experience supporting large enterprise accounts or mission‑critical cloud environments.

Prior involvement in training, mentoring, or upskilling teams.
