El Gobierno Peruano y las agencias de NNUU, entre ellas WFP CO Perú, han consolidado el uso de las transferencias de efectivo como una medida de protección social y económica en emergencias, por lo que la modalidad vigente de asistencia que el WFP CO Perú puede proponer se encuentra en esta línea y es coherente con las modalidades de acción que a nivel global desarrolló WFP. Como parte de las actividades de la Unidad de Respuesta a Crisis del WFP CO Perú, se continuará apoyando en la implementación de acciones de respuesta ante emergencias a la población de migrantes y nacionales del Perú afectados, especialmente para la realización de transferencias de efectivo o bonos de alimentos, en base a las necesidades identificadas y en respuesta a la solicitud del gobierno nacional. El/la Monitor(a) de Campo estará basado/a en Tumbes.
Propósito de la posición
El(la) monitor(a) de campo se encargará de realizar actividades de seguimiento y apoyo a los proyectos de Transferencias Basadas en Efectivo (CBT por sus siglas en inglés). Trabajará bajo la supervisión del Coordinador de Campo de CBT en Tumbes;
Responsabilidades clave
1. Realizar las actividades de identificación, focalización, validación, registro y acompañamiento de familias;
2. Apoyar en la compilación de información y datos de los beneficiarios atendidos por WFP;
3. Aplicar durante toda la implementación del proyecto, los lineamientos de la organización referidos a la igualdad de género y la transversalización de la protección en todas sus actividades;
4. Brindar la información y sensibilizar a las personas a atender y actores locales claves sobre el objetivo y los lineamientos del WFP y proyectos en terreno;
5. Apoyar en la orientación a los socios cooperantes sobre las prácticas operacionales, instrumentos y métodos de seguimiento del WFP;
6. Elaborar informes de monitoreo y seguimiento relativos relacionados a los proyectos de la región;
7. Ofrecer soporte en campo en otras regiones según las necesidades;
8. Cualquier otro tema requerido por la Representante.
Competencias
• Habilidad para reunir, organizar y proporcionar información;
• Habilidad de coordinación entre varios actores;
• Habilidad para realizar trabajo en equipo y establecer adecuadas relaciones interpersonales;
• Atención al detalle en implementación de proyectos;
• Poseer buena redacción y ortografía;
Calificación
• Deseable profesional en ciencias sociales, economía, estadística u otro campo relevante;
• Deseable que el candidato tenga estudios en Monitoreo o Gestión de Programas Sociales;
• Deseable dominio básico de inglés;
• Disponibilidad para trasladarse dentro del país;
Experiencia
• Al menos tres años de experiencia trabajando en monitoreo de programas o proyectos de gestión social, deseable basado en campo;
• Experiencia específica en proyectos de transferencias monetarias;
• Deseable que el candidato haya desempeñado funciones de monitoreo en Tumbes;
