Role Overview

We are hiring a
Regional Connectivity & Trade Logistics Advisor
to support strategic diagnostics and policy advisory projects in Latin America. Based in Lima, this role centers on cross-border logistics, port system optimization, and regional trade frameworks—particularly within the Pacific Alliance and Andean integration context.

The Advisor will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop policy briefs, infrastructure assessments, and regional investment strategies aligned with sustainable economic development goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map trade logistics performance across key corridors and ports in Peru and the broader Andean region
  • Conduct research on intermodal transport, customs modernization, and cross-border trade reform
  • Support development of technical documents, strategy reports, and investment memos for public and multilateral stakeholders
  • Monitor developments in port governance, special economic zones, and regional trade agreements (e.g., Pacific Alliance, APEC)
  • Contribute to stakeholder mapping, institutional diagnostics, and policy alignment tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in International Trade, Development Economics, Transport Policy, or Public Administration
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics planning, trade facilitation, or infrastructure development projects
  • Understanding of Peru's trade infrastructure, regional integration mechanisms, and investment environment
  • Strong analytical writing and policy research skills
  • Fluency in English required
