The Senior Backend Developer is responsible for building and maintaining efficient, secure, and scalable services and APIs. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless systems integration and the delivery of quality solutions. They actively participate in the technical design, development, and continuous improvement of the platform's backend.

Responsabilities:
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services, applying best practices in security and clean code.

API & Database Integration
Implement and consume APIs, integrate third-party systems, and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Technical Collaboration
Validate technical decisions with architects or tech leads, and contribute to decisions on tools, integrations, and infrastructure.

Cross-Functional Teamwork
Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Agile Methodology
Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and prioritize technical improvements with the software architect.

Validation & Testing
Define testing criteria with QA and validate functional and technical deliverables (e.g., logs, performance, standards).

Continuous Improvement
Drive process, tool, and architecture enhancements, and propose new technologies aligned with business needs.

Technical Skills:
Version Control:
Proficient in Git for code versioning and collaboration.

Programming Fundamentals:
Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP).

Testing & Quality:
Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

API Development:
Skilled in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Languages & Frameworks:
Expertise in C# .NET Core and

Databases:
Experience with SQL Server and other relational/non-relational databases.

Software Design Principles:
Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and clean architecture.

DevOps & CI/CD:
Familiar with continuous integration practices.

Cloud Platforms:
Basic knowledge of AWS services.

Front-End Development:
Desirable experience or knowledge in front-end technologies.

Industry Experience:
8 years of experience in software development within fintech, financial services, or related industries.

Languages:
English proficiency (desirable).
