More Minsait. 💻 We are a global leader in digital transformation and consulting, connecting people, technology, and business to drive growth, innovation, and sustainable impact. 🚀 We’re currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team 📋 Position Summary: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines using PySpark , with a strong focus on SQL-based development. You’ll work closely with business analysts and data architects to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions. ✅ Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in data engineering with strong SQL skills. Expertise in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, performance tuning). Hands-on experience with PySpark and Spark SQL. Familiarity with AWS services (EMR, S3, Glue). Knowledge of Kimball dimensional modeling. Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses. Understanding of Apache Iceberg or similar formats (Delta Lake, Hudi). ⭐ Preferred Qualifications: Experience building and managing data marts. Exposure to Airflow or other orchestration tools. Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tools. Understanding of ODS and data lake architecture. Experience with Bitbucket and Jenkins. 🔍 Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain batch data pipelines using PySpark (SQL-focused). Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support business logic and reporting. Translate business requirements into efficient code. Integrate data from diverse sources into Iceberg tables and Snowflake. Build curated datasets and data marts for business consumption. Monitor data jobs on AWS EMR orchestrated by Airflow.
