Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of ERP consulting experience and strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The candidate will be responsible for leading finance workstreams, conducting business process analysis, configuring D365 Finance modules, driving solution design, supporting testing and deployment activities, and working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting and finance domain knowledge along with hands‑on experience in multiple end‑to‑end D365 F&O implementation, upgrade, or support projects.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Consulting & Solution Design

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and business process assessments.
• Perform Fit‑Gap Analysis and recommend industry best‑practice solutions.
• Translate business requirements into Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Design and configure Finance modules within D365 F&O.
• Lead solution walkthroughs and obtain stakeholder sign‑offs.

D365 Finance Module Expertise

Hands‑on experience in:

• Configure system parameters and finance setups.
• Support end‑to‑end implementation lifecycle including:

• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Support data migration strategy, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Drive SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted advisor for client finance stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, solution reviews, and executive discussions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including SCM, Project Operations, Technical, Integration, and Reporting teams.
• Provide user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Perform root cause analysis of finance‑related issues.
• Support release management and system enhancements.
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist in post‑go‑live stabilization and support activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 8-10 years of ERP consulting experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on D365 F&O Finance experience.
• At least 3 full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations.
• Experience in global rollout, support, or transformation programs preferred.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Expertise in Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), Record‑to‑Report (R2R), and Fixed Asset lifecycle processes.
• Understanding of intercompany transactions and multi‑entity environments.
• Experience with statutory and regulatory requirements.
