This remote role requires a customer‑centric Senior Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. You will lead a team of engineers while working cross‑functionally with Engineering, Design, and other Product Managers to define, build, and launch mission‑critical AI initiatives on Toptal’s AI platform. Responsibilities Own and lead an agile team, including backlog grooming, prioritization, and cross‑functional coordination for AI‑driven product capabilities. Translate AI platform capabilities into customer‑facing, talent‑facing, and internal product experiences that deliver measurable business value. Define new product feature scopes and ongoing improvements, write user stories, and set acceptance criteria. Establish credibility with internal and external partners, breaking down complex problems and using data, analytics, and user research to guide product direction. Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and communicate mitigation plans. Run ad‑hoc research and business analyses to assess opportunities and risks. Own complex product challenges that align with both short‑term goals and long‑term strategic initiatives. Onboarding Timeline First week: Onboard, integrate into Toptal, and study the product suite. First month: Organize high‑level roadmap, collaborate with development teams, and take over in‑flight initiatives. First three months: Own a product category, launch AI‑driven features with measurable impact, and embed fully into a development team. First six months: Discover new product opportunities, develop repeatable roadmap models, and refine processes. First year: Deliver roadmap priorities, scale the team, and build impactful products in a timely and elegant fashion. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical discipline. At least 3 years of product management experience, including end‑to‑end product ownership. Experience managing mobile, desktop, and web applications across the full product lifecycle. Knowledge of AI product development processes and best practices. Experience launching AI‑powered features that improve engagement, efficiency, and measurable outcomes. Ability to build intelligent workflows by connecting systems and automation tools. Experience with third‑party integrations and SQL or spreadsheets for data analysis. Strong data‑driven decision making and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working in a globally distributed, fast‑paced environment using agile methodologies. Self‑starter with a good sense of ownership and a customer‑centric mindset. High standards for quality in user stories, designs, technical approaches, and testing. Team‑player who is humble, eager to learn, and willing to help achieve company goals. Benefits Remote position.
