ROLE SUMMARY:

Cambridge College is one of the leading co-educational schools in Peru serving more than 1,200 students from 2-18 years of age.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To determine areas of extracurricular demand and develop plans to meet these needs.
  • To recruit coaches and service providers to meet the school’s demands for extracurricular activities.
  • To vet prospective activity leaders thoroughly, conduct background checks, and ensure their suitability to work with children.
  • To provide an induction program for all new employees, ensuring that they can meet the school´s expectations around child safeguarding and protection and attendance and that they conduct their activities in accordance with the school´s expected pedagogy and communication guidelines.
  • Liaise with the athletics department and academic leaders to ensure that facilities and resources are used in accordance with the school´s priorities.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources and Finance Departments to ensure that the activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Promote the Cambridge College Academies on appropriate platforms, assemblies and parent sessions.
  • Conduct a review of each activity upon completion to provide feedback to the provider and enhance the program delivery.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • Experience in managing Sports Academies.
  • Experience in managing Swimming Academies.
  • Experience in managing Technology Academies.
  • Experience in managing Music Academies.
  • Experience in managing Arts Academies.
  • Experience in organizing Camps and Summer School (for Academics, English, Sports and Arts, taking place over long holidays in January/February, October, and July, for example).
