ROLE SUMMARY:Cambridge College is proud to be a member of Inspired, an international group of over 80 premium schools educating over 70,000 students across 23+ countries. Inspired schools are designed to inspire students to achieve their maximum potential in a nurturing, progressive academic environment.
Cambridge College is a member of the Latin American Heads’ Conference (LAHC) and British Schools of Peru (BSP). Cambridge College is one of the leading co-educational schools in Peru serving more than 1,200 students from 2-18 years of age.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- To determine areas of extracurricular demand and develop plans to meet these needs.
- To recruit coaches and service providers to meet the school’s demands for extracurricular activities.
- To vet prospective activity leaders thoroughly, conduct background checks, and ensure their suitability to work with children.
- To provide an induction program for all new employees, ensuring that they can meet the school´s expectations around child safeguarding and protection and attendance and that they conduct their activities in accordance with the school´s expected pedagogy and communication guidelines.
- Liaise with the athletics department and academic leaders to ensure that facilities and resources are used in accordance with the school´s priorities.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and Finance Departments to ensure that the activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Promote the Cambridge College Academies on appropriate platforms, assemblies and parent sessions.
- Conduct a review of each activity upon completion to provide feedback to the provider and enhance the program delivery.
- Camps and Summer School (for Academics, English, Sports and Arts, taking place over long holidays in January/February, October, and July, for example).
