This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on, bringing structure and scalability to a dynamic environment. We’re looking for a proven leader with a strong technical foundation who thrives in high-growth CPG settings and can build efficient processes without losing agility. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Drive the month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness Develop, refine, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Partner with external auditors and manage annual audit processes Collaborate closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Assess, implement, and optimize ERP and other financial systems (NetSuite preferred) Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing accounting team as the business scales Deliver clear, accurate, and timely financials to internal stakeholders and PE sponsors Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership in corporate accounting and controllership roles Strong public accounting background (Big 4 or large regional firm) required Active or inactive CPA license Prior CPG or related industry experience, ideally with omni-channel and inventory exposure Prior experience in PE-backed or fast-growth environments preferred Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset Additional Notes: This is a remote role with flexibility, but candidates in Los Angeles or other key markets will be prioritized for periodic in-person leadership meetings.
