The company's extensive network of comfortable, modern buses and trains, along with its user-friendly app, makes travel seamless and accessible for everyone.

To launch Flix in Peru, the company is seeking a passionate and visionary Head of Operations to lead the charge.

In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will develop and inspire a dynamic team dedicated to ramping up operations and achieving excellence in service.

The mission involves building an Operations hub from the ground up, collaborating closely with the HQ in Germany to implement best practices that elevate performance and customer experience.

The Head of Operations will cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with bus partners, ensure smooth onboarding of new partners, and launch new lines that meet ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and motivate a strong team to drive operations for Flix Bus in Peru.
  • Establish an Operations hub to achieve operational and customer excellence, supported by the HQ in Germany.
  • Build lasting relationships with bus partners.
  • Responsible for Operations KPIs and implementing processes that deliver results.
  • Onboard new bus partners and launch new lines.
  • Run operations and manage quality standards.
  • Identify risks and find solutions.
  • Analyze data and processes with the team, challenging the status quo and driving improvement.
  • Drive the launch of Flix Bus in Peru, shaping the future of transportation with innovation and enthusiasm.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Degree in transportation, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in project management and running operations for a global player.
  • Previous success in a similar role in the transport, logistics, and/or bus industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Able to design and implement policies and processes.
  • Staff planning, coordination, and leadership experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with strict deadlines.
  • Able to make decisions autonomously while escalating when necessary.
  • Strong negotiation and social skills to deal with stakeholders.
  • Readiness for traveling.
