Head of Corporate Development ANZ | PE Portfolio | $300k++ Add expected salary to your profile for insights Tier 1 global private equity firm | Global healthtech software business $300k++ | Partner with an outstanding CEO and ELT | Create the function Accelerated growth | Open to first movers out of Big 4/Boutique advisory The Opportunity This is an outstanding opportunity for a Corporate Development/M&A leader to join the portfolio company of one of the world's most decorated PE groups. A software business operating in the healthcare space, they have a clear mandate for growth in the region as they are entering an accelerated buy-and-build phase. The Challenge Reporting to the ANZ CEO and Group CFO (based offshore), with a dotted line to the PE sponsor, this role will lead all corporate development and M&A activity across Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for building a high-quality acquisition pipeline and executing transactions that materially shape the growth and scale of the platform in the region. Lead the ANZ corporate development and M&A agenda Originate, evaluate and execute buy-side acquisitions Build and manage a robust, proprietary deal pipeline Financial modelling, valuation and investment case preparation Lead due diligence, negotiation and transaction execution Partner closely with the global CFO, executive leadership and sponsor Support post-merger integration and value creation initiatives The Expertise Background in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory Strong experience in software / SaaS environments (healthtech a plus) Exposure to PE-backed or acquisitive businesses Comfortable owning deals end-to-end: origination through to completion Commercial, self-directed and credible with senior stakeholders Candidates currently in Big 4 or boutique advisory teams with strong software exposure are encouraged to apply, as are in-house Corp Dev professionals seeking broader ownership.
