Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO, board of directors, and other senior executives.
  • Lead financial risk management efforts, including monitoring cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage the finance team, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's financial position.
  • USE OF QUICKBOOKS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a CFO or VP of Finance.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities, with a track record of driving financial results and business growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a finance team.
  • Sound decisionmaking skills, with the ability to balance shortterm objectives with longterm goals.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in financial management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic business environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to travel occasionally, as required.
  • Knowledge of (specific industry or sector OF CONTRUCTION) is a plus.
