We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Lead to join our team at Bradken Chilca. In this role, you will lead the implementation of the Asset Management program aligned with business reliability requirements. You will be accountable for capital project planning and execution, maintenance program design and execution (including Engineering Stores) and controlling the work of all subcontractors on-site.

As the Engineer Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by efficiently scheduling maintenance and capital projects to minimize costs. You will analyze and report on the performance of asset strategies, providing valuable insights for optimizing our operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and executing plant shutdowns and turnarounds to maintain operational efficiency. Managing levels of spare parts and engineering stores will also be part of your duties, ensuring that we have the necessary resources on hand to support our operations. Furthermore, you will consult with equipment manufacturers and service agencies to stay abreast of new technological developments that could enhance our processes.

As part of the Manufacturing Business Unit, you will assist in developing and maintaining engineering standards of Plant and Equipment aligned with site needs, ensuring that our operations meet industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment or similar heavy engineering industry.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in management, project management, lean manufacturing, or equivalent.
  • Proficient problemsolving skills coupled with strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both Spanish and English.

This role is based in Chilca, Lima, Peru.
