  • PROJECT MANAGERLead the implementation of medium-sized projects and ensure that all related activities are carried out in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements, financial goals, as well as schedule commitments.Main Responsibilities:
    • Project Leadership: Directs the project team assigned to the project, establishing key guidelines, assigning project tasks, and inspiring and overseeing internal and external resources to complete all tasks and milestones. Provides performance evaluations regarding allocated project resources.
    • Planning and Scheduling: Develops, together with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
    • Project Execution and Control: Ensures that the project adheres to best execution practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitors and manages project progress and resource utilization efficiency. Supervises project finances, monitoring project billing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow. Identifies, assesses, quantifies, and controls project risks, while also ensuring all opportunities are recognized and pursued. Gathers, analyzes, and disseminates lessons learned throughout the project, and ensures the project is formally concluded as per the contract. Drives the official approval of the project, contract closure, and customer acknowledgment.
    • Contract, Claims, and Procurement Management: Ensures consistent application of contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements. Collaborates with Supply Chain Management to procure necessary services, materials, and equipment from external and internal suppliers. Supports Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims, and project modifications.
    • Stakeholder Relations: Serves as the primary point of contact for the client and an escalation point for project-related concerns. Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all involved parties.
    • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensures project compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.Requirements:
      • Preferably holds a degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
      • Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience.
      • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
      • Certified Project Manager or PMP Certified.
      • Preferred knowledge in Substations, Basic Engineering, Protection and Control, Medium and High Voltage Equipment, Technical Document Control.
      • Experience with projects of varying sizes, complexities, and contract forms.
