Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Support the tender manager on financial aspects. Provide input to negotiations on commercial matters. Provide input in local risk review process.
  • Support the Project Managers in all financial and commercial affairs. Actively supervise and back up the financial performance of assigned projects, drive and seek optimization of project revenues, profitability, cash flow contributing to the financial outcome.
  • Support the Project Managers in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews including preparation of "at completion" estimates, cost-to-complete calculations, revenues, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Participate in opportunity/risk identification and monitor that all necessary actions are promptly implemented.
  • Provide input to the Project Execution Plan on financial matters.
  • Prepare project invoices, financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting);
  • Oversee currency risk, bonds and guarantee and tax matters.
  • Is accountable for the accuracy of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.
  • Analyze variances on forecasted revenue and costs.
  • Support the Project Manager in adherence to: corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.
  • Assist and support with the monthly closing and reporting.

Your Background:

  • Accountant or industrial engineer degree.
  • Master's degree in finance (preferable)
  • To excel in this position, we expect you to have a financial background and possess 7 years of experience in project controlling or equivalent.
  • You have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with SAP.
  • You are capable of consolidating extensive amounts of data and presenting it in a comprehensible manner to management and other staff.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and dedication.
  • Skilled in effective communication.
  • Self-motivated individual.
  • You operate with integrity, transparency, and a focus on safety.
  • You are driven to tackle challenges, deliver outcomes - prioritize, take action, and achieve objectives.
  • As an individual, you are adaptable, open-minded, and inquisitive.
  • English language proficiency: intermediate-advanced.
