Descripción del empleo

AECOM is currently looking for an Environmental Technical Leader to join our team in Lima, Peru.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating on assigned work packages under limited supervision, reporting to the Design Manager.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of design projects, complying with relevant standards.
  • Coordinating with project team members and leaders of other disciplines.
  • Managing activities and contracts of medium complexity under the Project Manager's guidance.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables and contributing to technical design proposals.
  • Interacting with the client's technical team regarding deliverable assessments.
  • Attending coordination meetings with the client and managing potential impacts on schedule and budget.

Requisitos

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Forestry, Chemical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in social or environmental projects for the mining sector.
  • 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Specialization studies related to environmental assessments, execution, monitoring, and management with a minimum of twenty-four (24) credits.

Preferences:

  • 10 years of professional experience in social or environmental projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in mining companies or international engineering consulting firms.
  • Knowledge of Public Works for Taxes mechanisms.
  • Successful experience in presenting Environmental Impact Assessments and Closure Plans.
  • Advanced level of English.
