Job Description:

AECOM is seeking for an experienced Mining Environmental / Water Resources Project Manager in Lima, Peru.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leadership in proposals preparation and project management of environmental services (consulting, engineering and auditing)
  • Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
  • Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
  • Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of science.
  • Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.
  • Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.
  • Works under mínimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
  • Manages group of scientists and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mining Engineer, Chemical Engineer or related field 6 years of experience working in environmental projects / initiatives related to mining industry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience leading teams
  • Updated CIP Peruvian Engineering License (Colegiatura CIP vigente) or applicable License (Colegiatura)

Preferred:

  • 8 years of experience working in environmental projects / initiatives related to mining industry
  • Experience working in international engineering / consultant companies
  • 384 Hours in environmental training related to SEIA
  • English language
