Job Description:

  • Handle daily Fraud Operations and AML activities in accordance with established SOPs and operational guidelines.
  • Apply Fraud & AML procedures in line with applicable Bank Indonesia, OJK, and PPATK requirements.
  • Monitor and review fraud alerts, investigate flagged transactions, and escalate potential fraud cases when required.
  • Perform transaction monitoring and support suspicious activity reporting as part of AML operations.
  • Conduct end-to-end investigations of fraud and money-mule cases, including evidence gathering, root-cause analysis, case resolution, and documentation.
  • Work with Product, Business, Marketing, and Operations teams to support preventive controls such as velocity checks, device fingerprinting, and eKYC.
  • Coordinate case escalations with Legal and Customer Service teams, and support law enforcement referrals when required.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and audit trails to support fraud prevention, AML compliance, and operational risk management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Finance, Accounting, Law, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Fraud Risk, AML, Transaction Monitoring, Banking Operations, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience handling scam and Account Takeover (ATO) cases; experience with interbank coordination is a plus.
  • Familiarity with BI-FAST and relevant regulatory reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical and transaction tracing skills, with the ability to review transaction logs, system alerts, and identify suspicious transaction indicators.
  • Good understanding of scam typologies, fraud patterns, AML principles, and suspicious activity indicators.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately within regulatory SLAs.
  • Strong communication, coordination, urgency, and accountability, with the ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
