Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Develop initial sample patterns based on product designs, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Inspect and adjust patterns after fitting sessions to ensure proper fit, balance, and garment shape.
• Perform pattern grading across standard size ranges according to product specifications.
• Utilize CAD pattern-making software, with a strong proficiency in TUKAcad.
• Accurately estimate fabric consumption while ensuring patterns are production-ready.
• Prepare detailed sewing instructions and product size charts.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Sample, and Production teams throughout the pattern development process.
• Develop and refine detailed pattern specifications and construction details for samples.

Requirements :

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Pattern Maker in the fashion or apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of pattern construction, sizing, grading, and pattern alterations.
• Proficient in CAD pattern-making software, particularly TUKAcad/Optitex.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, measurements, fitting, and production processes.
• Ability to accurately estimate fabric consumption.
• Skilled in preparing clear and detailed sewing instructions and size charts.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
