FX Artist

Jakarta Barat Contract On Site Entry Level

• Create a wide range of visual effects to enhance both natural and supernatural environments, including particle simulations, fluids, destruction, smoke, dust, fire, lightning, storms, and explosions.
• Collaborate closely with the FX Lead/Supervisor and other team members to develop creative and technically sound FX solutions.
• Work with other departments (animation, lighting, compositing, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of effects within the production pipeline.
• Develop and simulate dynamic effects such as cloth and soft-body interactions as needed.

Requirements

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality effects while meeting production deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward technical challenges.
• Experience in creating diverse FX simulations (destruction, atmospheric, fluid, magical/supernatural, etc.).
• Solid understanding of physics, motion, and natural phenomena across various scales.
• Proficiency with industry-standard FX tools (e.g., Houdini, Maya, or equivalent).
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and share knowledge with the team.
• Knowledge of scripting or tool development (e.g., Python, MEL) is a strong plus.
• A compilation of your best 3D and VFX work demonstrating creativity and technical potential.
• Clear and well-presented submissions that highlight your skills.
